Okay - so I've decided to try to produce something similar to the photo from the
previous post for my front arch in my entrance hall. I have decided to use fake boxwood garland (can use it every year then) and add fresh greenery and red accents to it. Maybe pomegranates or fake apples....we'll see what I can find.
Above is the garland I bought from
Ballard Designs ---- way on sale!!!
Resistance was futile.
ReplyDeletePlease show a picture if you do...I looooove it!!
ReplyDeleteGreat! Looking forward to the finish!!! Christmas is coming soon (the pressure's on)!
ReplyDeleteI am just now reading your blog for the first time - so sorry for the late question. I have used the Ballard boxwood garland for years and fattened it up with frazier fir, magnolia, holly, and big red bows. It really looks beautiful when done, although every year I swear I'm not doing it again because the boxwood garland falls apart so easily. I get to the point that I would rather chew glass! (Complete Christmas buzz kill!) I wondered if you found the Ballard garland difficult to work with as well, and if so, did you come up with any kind of remedy? Thanks!!!
