JD and I both like old fashioned percale sheets - the ones that are cool to the touch and crisp. Wamsutta used to make beautiful scalloped percale sheets. In fact they were my in my linen trousseau and lasted for 18 years! Wamsutta does not make the sheets anymore, which is very sad. But
Garnet Hill makes a pretty good version and they are what I sleep on every night. Right now they are on sale until July 5, so grab them quick. (I am not being paid by Garnet Hill to write this, but I should be!)

Thanks for the heads up. I am a sheet/bedding fanatic and these look very nice. I am going to go check them out!
ReplyDeleteI, too, must have beautiful bedding. I have some of the scalloped ones with my initial. I bought 3 sets at one time and will always have them (until, like you, they just simply reach their life span).
ReplyDeleteNothing else can replace natural fibers, high thread count, starched and ironed sheets. We are thinking alike. Come see my post today. xx's
Oh, Garnet Hill. A wonderfully natural bedlinen company. Love those guys and their imaginative catalogs.
