in my neighbors' yards!
the view from my neighbor's yard to my house
Today we begin to redo our front yard. Obviously we did not pick the correct grass 3 years ago, because it has completely died. Wish us luck with our project.
Have a great weekend everyone!
It takes a lot to keep a grass going strong!! I am sure you have talked to your local lawn & garden. The more tips the better! Love your home...

You will love it!
The only tip I can offer is to grow your grass from seed instead of sod. No instant gratification, but the roots will grow deeper and the end result will be a stronger and healthier lawn. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteSo so pretty. Like a picture.
ReplyDeleteLots of hard work by my three guys today! Whole yard is tilled and turned over...new grass next weekend.
ReplyDeleteI have just about succeeded in removing all areas of lawn from my front and rear garden. What is left has a thick, rich, weedless carpet of ST Augustine grass; it is bulletproof and requires only mowing.
ReplyDeleteSt Augustine is what we are putting in! Have heard great things about it from several neighbors. We have tried every other type....
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your grass. Your home is beautiful! Love the fan-shaped attic (?) window, bay window, & small window on the side of the house, the dormer windows and your front door & pediment.

Your house is so beautiful! Good luck with the project.
ReplyDeleteWe use Terry-Turf exclusively and take full advantage of our neighbor's hard work on their lawn. It's it great to have a tiny city-yard?
