Pawley's Island, Litchfield Beach Photos
house on Litchfield
So, here's where we were last week - soaking up the sun, playing in the waves and as always, taking in the housing scenery. Here are photos I took to my children's dismay:
"Mom! Why do you always stop to take pictures of houses? Mom, the cars behind us are getting kind of mad. Mom! Are you taking these pictures for your blog?" Yes...
I was fascinated with how the different builders handle the area under the house (all of the houses are built up high for water reasons).
Saw this on an early evening walk -
I like this railing...
This large house is on Pawley's Island
I like the design, but wonder if it might not be more appropriate in a coastal city like Charleston, as opposed to right on the beach?

Happy beach. We're just back from a few days of coastal house staking too, from Ponce Inlet to St. Augustine. I'm guessing the best ones are the ones we can't see, those with overgrown vegetation facing the road.
